Statement of Work (SOW) Services Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Statement of Work (SOW) Services Specialist to join our team. As an SOW Services Specialist, you will be responsible for crafting comprehensive and accurate statements of work that outline the scope, deliverables, timelines, and pricing of our professional services engagements. You will collaborate closely with sales, project management, and technical teams to ensure the successful execution of projects and the satisfaction of our clients.

Responsibilities:

– Collaborate with sales and project management teams to gather project requirements and understand client expectations.
– Analyze client needs and propose tailored solutions and services that align with their goals and objectives.
– Craft detailed and accurate statements of work (SOWs) that clearly define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, timelines, and pricing.
– Ensure SOWs are compliant with company policies, legal requirements, and industry best practices.
– Review and negotiate contract terms and conditions in collaboration with legal and sales teams.
– Facilitate internal reviews and approvals of SOWs, coordinating inputs from various stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
– Provide guidance and support to sales teams in preparing and presenting SOWs to clients, addressing any questions or concerns.
– Maintain a repository of standardized SOW templates and update them as needed to reflect evolving business requirements and best practices.
– Track and monitor SOW progress, milestones, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
– Collaborate with project managers to ensure adherence to SOW requirements and manage any scope changes or deviations.
– Conduct post-project evaluations to assess SOW effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
– Proven experience in crafting and managing statements of work (SOWs) for professional services engagements.
– Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
– Attention to detail and ability to work with precision to ensure accuracy and completeness of SOWs.
– Strong negotiation and contract review skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
– Familiarity with legal and compliance considerations related to SOWs and professional services engagements.
